AbstractObjective:Toexplorethevaluableassociationrulesinunplannedextubationeventsofinpatientswithcancer,andprovide
referencefortheformulationofpreventivemeasuresforunplannedextubation.Methods:Dataon300casesofunplannedextubation
eventsreportedfromJanuary2022toJune2024atatertiaryGradeⅢ,LevelAcancerspecialtyhospitalinChangshaCitywere
collected.TheApriorialgorithmwasutilizedfordataminingandeffectivenessevaluation.Results:Atotalof13pairsofstrong
associationruleswereidentified.High‐riskfactorsforunplannedextubationeventsinhospitalizedcancerpatientsinclude:malegender,age≥
60years,smokinghistory,surgicalhistory,multipleconcurrentcatheters,nighttimeoccurrence,absenceofsedationorrestraints,nurses
ondutywith5yearsofexperience,andmoderatetohighriskofpsychologicaldistress,etc.Conclusions:Nursingstaffshouldpromptly
identifyandassesshigh‐riskextubationpatients,establishhospital‐widepreventionprotocolsforunplannedextubationofgastrictubes
andcentralvenouscatheters,implementtargetedrestraintprotocolscombinedwithcomfort‐orientedsedation,enhancenighttimepain
management,strengthenriskawarenessamongnurseswithlimitedclinicalexperience,andprioritizepsychologicalinterventionsfor
patientsathighriskofpsychologicaldistress.
