QuantitativedatawascollectedfromChina,Germany,SwedenandtheUSthroughonline

interviewswith1,923respondentsaged18andolder.Ofthese,667weredecisionmakers

withresponsibilityoverlogisticssolutionsandservices.Theother1,256werebusinessuserswithinthelogisticsfield,butwithoutanydecision-makingauthority.Usersweretypically

employeesinthesametypeofcompaniesasthedecisionmakers.Themajorityofsurveyed

decisionmakerscanbecategorizedasearlyadoptersofnewtechnology,ascouldthe

companiestheyrepresent.Thesameisalsotrueforthebusinessusers.Thesurveywas

conductedduringJanuaryandFebruary2020.Inaddition,quantitativeconsumersurveydatafromtheEricssonConsumerIndustryLabAnalyticalPlatformgatheredinApril2020wasused.

Qualitativeinsightsweregatheredthrough21interviewswithindustryexperts,academicresearchersanddecisionmakerswithinthelogisticsindustryand4withtransportationworkers.ThesewereconductedinEuropeandtheUSfromAugust2019untilApril2020.
