ofwhichportsareakeyexample.Thiscanbeachievedbyimplementingsustainableportgrowthpolicies,throughnewor

re-designedoperationalplanning.Aspartofthis,introducingnewtechnologiesintoportprocessesandecosystemsthatfactorintheenvironment,buthave

wider-reachingbenefits,willenableamovetowardstheportofthefuture.

Althoughtheexpectedconsequencesofachangedclimateareoneofthereasonsbehindactionsincoastalprotection

andportmanagement,issuessuchasscarcityofprimebuildinglocations,useofresources,environmentali
