BIOLOGICALACTIVITY

⽣物活性(S)-HPMPA是⼀种抗病毒剂。(S)-HPMPA可以与病毒DNA聚合酶结合并⼲扰其活性，从⽽抑制病毒DNA的

合成。(S)-HPMPA可⽤于DNA病毒的研究[1][2]。

体外研究(S)-HPMPAppisagoodsubstrateforvacciniaDNApolymerase,readilyincorporatingintotheDNAstrand

withoutcausingstrandtermination;instead,itexertsitsinhibitoryeffectbyinhibiting3-to-5exonuclease

activityandblockingtemplatestrandelongation[1].

(S)-HPMPA(1-100μg/ml,24-72h)caneffectivelyinhibitviralreplicationinprimaryrabbitkidneycells[2].
