Even though it was written before the introduction of Total Branding, the Thompson Way, JWT Account Managers Handbook is still a very useful guide. You can use it to flesh out many of the ideas in this presentation and you can give it to young account people to read. If you don’t have a copy in the office, Grace Atkinson in Hong Kong can get one for you. As always bring the presentation to life with lots of local examples. Get the audience to tell you the different jobs an Account Person is expected to do and have them give examples of the difficulties they have run into.
