M ethods From June 2008 to December 2009, w e perform ed sm ll-incision ssisted l p roscopy on 15 p tients w ith huge bdom in l incision l herni . Them e n di m eter of the herni ring of the p tients w s ( 12. 3 3. 4) cm. After removing the herni l s c, reconstruction of the bdom in lw llw s c rried out. Results The procedu re w s com pleted in ll the 15 c ses w ith in m e n oper tion tmi e of ( 123. 3 15. 9) m in ( 100- 150 m in). The length of the sm ll incision r nged from 5 to 8 cm w ith m e n of ( 6. 0 0. 9) cm. H idden hern i w s detected in 6 of the c ses, nd w s rep ired during the procedure. One p tient w s confirm ed s h ving serous cyst. A fter the oper tion, the p tients w s disch rged from our hosp it l in 4 to 8 d ys w ith m e n of ( 5. 3 1. 2) d ys. One of the p tients h d postoper tive p in for over three m onths but w ithout incision l infection or injury to the intestine or other bdom in l org ns. W e follow ed up the p tients for ( 19. 9 4. 7) m onths ( 12- 30 m on ths) , nd found no recur
