Abstract:In a pilot scale system, the formation and removal of BDOC and AOC were compared in the pre-treatment unit, traditional
t reatment unit and advanced treatment unit. The experimental results indicate that the CODMn removal in a traditional process plus
active carbon filter system is 30% and in a traditional process plus ozone and active carbon filter system is more than 50% . The AOC
contents in the effluent of a traditional process plus active carbon filter system is below 50Lg/ L. T he optimum process combination in
t he research is: traditional process plus ozonation plus biological active carbon.
