Abstract
Product development strategy is the enterprise to meet market demand as the goal,
according to the external environment and internal resource situation, in order to
achieve the overall strategic business obj ectives, plan the business-type spectra of the
products for a certain period, it is an strategy based on global and long-term nature and
other considerations.
Jiangling Holding Co., Ltd. is a joint venture co-funded by Changan Automobile
and Jiangling Group in October 2004, its headquarters is in Nanchang, has three major
production bases: Landwind base, small blue-Industrial Park, Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd.
Jiangling Holding Co., Ltd.s product development strategy model is differentiation
strategy, which is impletmented through innovation and collaborative innovation
achieved step by step. as a business model similar to the reference, the enterprise should
pay attention to resolve the following issues when formulation and implementation of
product development strategy:
1. In the development of enterprise product development strategy model, we
should give full consideration to the overall development direction, to find the
difference into a business goal, as fully as possible analyze the external environment,
particularly the industry environment, refer to generally product development model
and rules in the Industry, to find the right standard enterprise to identify gaps, give full
consideration to their own resources.
2. The ultimate goal of enterprise product development strategy should be to
develop products suited to market demand, and continue to digest the final realization of
accumulated research and development capabilities of independent innovation. In order
