Abstract With the deepening of economic globalization, nowadays enterprises are increasingly concerned about the cultivation and play to their core competencies. Parts provided by suppliers to a large extent directly determine the quality and cost of products, impact on customer satisfaction with the enterprise. Products and services provided by suppliers play an important role on enterprise development. Currently, supplier chain is becoming the core of the obj ect market competition, is a competitive weapon for an enterprise. Supplier quality management is the core of the competition; it is an important cornerstone for the enterprise to achieve sustainable development. Under an increasing competitive market condition, enterprises pay more and more emphasis on supplier quality management. We could learn from the worldwide automotive recall cases, most problems are from parts quality. We could not discuss the quality of whole vehicles with ignoring parts quality from suppliers, they could not be separated. At present, domestic parts suppliers varying in levels, they still have a long way to go to catch up with other foreign well-known parts companies in personnel and management quality.
