ABSTRACT As the situation of employment is more and more serious, there is a new cohort in the society, which is called the new unemployed. They are young and have little work experience. With the increasing number, the new unemployed is also getting more and more attention. This paper takes “adult education” as the basic theory, makes “come back to the abundant adult life world, and go into the ample adult spiritual homestead” as the basic creed and logical start point, and makes nine of the new unemployed in Shanghai as research collaborators. As a researcher, I collect the material by interviewing with the nine new unemployed or through the files. Then, I analyze these materials from philosophy, pedagogy and social psychology to display the life attitude of the new unemployed and its influential factors. According to the analysis, some proposes are given. This paper is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is introduction. In this chapter, I present the reason, background, meaning of the research, and make certain research purpose from the dimensions of practice development, theory research and my major background. Then, I definite the key concepts and chose research methods. The second chapter is literature summarization. On the basis of document and data summed up, this section analyses the main-achievements and subsistent deficiency of this research field. The chapters from third to fifth respectively display the life attitude: the life attitude according to work, the life attitude according to interpersonal communication, the life attitude according to future performance. There is also a brief analysis of influential factors. The sixth chapter gives some proposes on the transition of life attitude. The last chapter
