中文摘要 英语阅读作为提高英语综合运用能力的重要手段之一，长期受到教师和学生 的重视。阅读问题无论在理论上还是在实践中，一直是大家关注的焦点。然而， 笔者作为上海郊区普通高中的一名在职教师却发现，虽然教师很重视阅读教学， 但是学生在日常的英语阅读中仍然存在很多问题及困难。为了有助于改变这一现 状，本文通过访谈及发放问卷的形式对上海郊区的一所普通高中的学生在英语阅 读方面存在的问题及困难作了较为全面的调查，并在调查研究的基础上，结合现 代教学理论对普通高中学生在英语阅读中所遇到的阅读困难进行了分析成因。此 外，本人还通过借鉴前人的研究成果，从实际的教学情况出发，提出了一些有助 于解决高中生英语阅读困难的教学对策。 本文共分为五章。第一章是绪论。主要介绍了研究的背景，目的和研究方法 并对相关概念进行了界定。第二章主要论述了本文的理论基础，并对国内外的相 关研究进行了概述。第三章在问卷调查及访谈的基础上，对普通高中学生在阅读 中所遇到的具体困难进行了归类，并进行了成因分析。第四章针对学生在英语阅 读中遇到的困难提出了相应的教学对策。第五章是全文的总结，不仅做出了本研 究的结论，而且还根据教学实际提出了具体的教学建议。 笔者希望本文能给有着相似背景学校的教师提供一定的教学参考。 关键字：郊区高中生 阅读困难 教学对策 ii Abstract As one of the most essential means of improving all-around ability of English, reading should be emphasized by both teachers and students. As a matter of fact, the ability to read is always regarded as the focus on English teaching either in theory or in practice by scholars and ordinary teachers. However, the author, an in-service teacher of a regular senior high school in the suburb of Shanghai, has found that difficulties in English reading are common among the students in her school as well as in many other secondary schools. In order to change the status quo, the author has studied the findings of the relative researches done by many other experts or researchers and has made a comprehensive study on the reading problems and difficulties encountered by the students in her school through interviews and questionnaires. Efforts are made in this paper not only to find out what reading difficulties the students have, but also to classify and analyze them.
