ABSTRACT
MicroanatomicalStudiesofExtendedAnterolateralApproach

CervicalVertebra
Weexamined30formalinfxiedcadaverichead,20dryskulland5fresh
cadavericheadsinthiswork.Theoperatingmicroscope,electricaldrill,macro-
andmicrosurgicalinstrumentswereused.Thearterialandvenoussystemsof
allfreshcadavericwereinjectedunderpressurewithcoloredsiliconerubber.
Themicroanatomyofventralclivusanduppercervicalvertebrawasstudiedto
lookforaneffectiveandsafeapproachtothisregion,andasystemicextended
anterolateralapproachwasplannedtoimprovetheoperativeeffectofthe
ventrallesionofclivusanduppercervicalvertebra.

O讨ective:Tomeasurethesizesofventralofclivusanduppercervical
vertebra(includeatlas,axis,C3andC4),andtodeterminetheresectionrange
ofthebonystructurewhileoperating.Materialsandmethods:20adultdry
skullwereselected.TheventraldataofitsclivusandC1-4wasmeasured
mainlyincludethedefniitionofthebonymark,thedistancebetweeneachjoint
andthesizeofclivusanduppercervicalvertebra.Results:Thesizesofthe
bonystructureandthelargestrangeofoperatingresectionwerefound
out.
