[Abstract] Fetal agenesis of corpus callosum (ACC) frequently associat es w ith oth the central nervous system and other
malformations, com ined many kinds of genet ic syndromes. Definit e diagnosis of ACC can provide relia le informat ion for
clinical physicians. Seeking a more direct and efficient w ay to directly visualize t he corpus callosum and pericallosal arteries
in order to diagnose and evaluate prognosis of t he fetal ACC has ecome a focus in domest ic and international prenatal ult ra-
sonic research in recent years. With the mature application of 3-dimensional ultrasound and the unceasing update of analyt-i
cal softw are, diagnosing fetal ACC is no longer limit ed to 2-dimensional ultrasound. T he current status on the prenatal u-l
t rasonic diagnosis of fet al ACC w as reviewed in this article.
