A Class is an abstract definition of what an object can be. An Object is a “real” thing. Example: A dictionary definition of a “Pen” is a Class while a specific pen in your hand is an object. VB.NET is an Event Driven Language Nothing happens unless an Event (such as Click) occurs on an Object (such as a Button).
