EcoChemical Engineering to be developed with an idea of cycling economy

Abstract: The rapid economic grow h in China has been f acing seriou s problems of insufficien resources and
environmen al pollu ion, and he solu ion requires a revolu ionary change in he s ruc ure of he chemical indus ry in o one ha is
like a nowas e na ural ecosys em. The essence of he engineering of a recycling economy is o make he life cycles of ma erials
in o closed loops, o develop ecologically compa ible chemical engineering. Many new problems arise: such as he coping wi h he
u iliza ion of sca ered resources, and how o ge o use renew able energies and resources . New echnologies are needed o solve
hese problems : he conversion of biomass in o fuels, ma erials reuse, he use of subs i u es for rare resources, he replacemen of
environmen ally harmful ones, and he synergis ic in egra ion of diverse indus ries.
