It w as found the optimal amount of tested serum used w as 10 l and the sensitivit and specificit of this method of assa w ere 91. 3% and 97. 3% respectivel , w ith a ouden index of 0. 886. There was no significant difference in the results of det ection among GICA , DIGFA and SAT ( P 0. 05) . It is apparent t hat t his method of detecting brucella in cows appears to be not onl sensi t ive and specific, but also less detected serum sample needed, and it ma be more suitable for rapid diagnosis of brucellosis in cows, epidemiological surve and field application for brucellosis.
