Scent of a Woman, I think, the meaning of the name is not about a woman’s fragrance, but a metaphor that is a good desire and pursuit. In the movie, Frank Slade is a very arrogant person in the beginning, and he had many illnesses. He had used to the superficial life of luxury in New York, which is full of beauties, luxury hotels, upscale restaurants. He viewed New York as his home. However, when he became blind, he thought he had lost everything. He was so lonely that he lost the goal of life, and the pain made him lost courage and confidence to live. So Colonel decided to spend several days full of luxury living in New York before he ended his life. But Colonel met Charlie,who is a top student from poor families. Charlie is a naive and good man, when he found Frank to commit suicide,he desperated to save him. Charlie’s sincere character eventually infected Frank. And in the end, Colonel felt so warm that he give up commit suicide. Ultimately ,he helped Charlie in the school trail vehemently. In the movie, Charlie is troubled by the problem as ‘tell or not tell’. On the one hand, he has a bright future. On the other hand, he has his own beliefs and principles. It is difficult to make a choice between the bright future and beliefs. But Charlie did it, that he insisted on his beliefs and principles. I admire his behavior, because it is too hard, especially for a poor student to give up a great future at his fingertips. I think he did a good job, and he is an example to us all. All of us should insist on the loyalty of friends, and stick to our beliefs and principles. What impressed me most in the movie is the tango. On the dance floor, a gentleman is dancing with a young lady elegantly .The melodies are sweet, and the posture is graceful. At that moment
