Methods 　The exp eriment was divided into negative cont rol 、emp t y vector PCXN2 and PCXN2 N S4B . The recombinant pla smid ( PCXN2N S4B) and t he emp t y vector were t ran sfect ed into Chang liver cell s wit h lipo some . Screening wa s p erformed wit h G4 18 . HCV N S4B mRN A was det ect ed by rever se t ran scrip tion PCR . The p rot ein exp ression s of cmyc and ras were analyzed byimmunohi stochemi st ry . Re sults 　St able exp ression of t he recombinant pla smid was found in t ran sfect ed Chang liver cell s. No exp res sion of cmyc gene wa s found in cont rol group and group PCXN2 . The exp ression of cmyc gene in group PCXN2N S4B was 2 1. 3 % 1. 2 %. The exp ression s of ras gene in cont rol group and group PCXN2 were lower t han t hat in PCXN2N S4B . Conclusion 　HCV N S4B p romot e t he exp ression of cmyc and ra s gene , suggesting t hat HCV N S4B may cont ribut e to t he viral carcino genesi s.
