Ask one student to introduce to the class. And tell them that when we are introducing others we can use: This is…. He is my classmate.
Try some other Ss.
Ask the Ss to read the dialogue and then finish the exercises on P88.
Then show them the picture. Then introduce the family to the Ss.
In this way, we can easily teach the words:
Grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, sister, brother, husband, wife, uncle and aunt (cousin if possible) Unit 2

Help then to finish a family tree on the blackboard.
Teach all these new words, emphasizing on the pronunciations of them.
Ask the Ss to introduce their family. Then talk about their family. Talk about the jobs of his/ her family members by asking “What is he /she?”
Do the listen test on page 88. check the answers.
Teach the words: doctor, teacher, policeman, nurse (engineer, office worker, manager, professor).
Get them read the dialogue silently and find the answer to the Qs on P89.
Finish off the family tree and then talk about the family. Go over the vocabularies once again.
Teach the handwriting of letters. Then get the Ss to read the letters. Help them to understand the meaning of these words. If possible, ask the students to say more.
Homework:
Recite the dialogues and words.
Copy the letters and the dialogues.
Write an article
