Most prone to internal corrosion in a crude oil pipeline is the location where water may have gathered. Therefore, by determining the oil-water two-phase flow patterns and the possible location of water, main detection the location of water inside the pipe is carried out, it can solve the pipeline safety problems largely. CFD software FLUENT was adopted, three-dimensional pipeline modes with inclined angles of 0°, 10°, 20° and 30° were constructed on the condition of constant flow velocity, pipe diameter and water content, then unstable calculations with VOF mode of multi-phase flow were done, finally flow field of oil-water two-phase flow and collection of water in the pipeline was analyzed, and the pressure, velocity, distribution of water phase of the pipeline was analyzed by different angles.
