ThecombinationofIevofIoxacinandn1adrenergicantagonisttreatmentisthecurrentpreferredchoiceforbothbacteriaIand
non-bacteriaIprostatitis．Theaimofthisstudyistoexploretheinfluenceofa1adrenergicantagonistsonthepharmacokineticsof
levofloxacinusingratmodelswithacutebacteriaIprostatitis(ABP)inducedbydirectinjectionwithEscherichiacoil(ATCC25922)．A
t0talof96modeIretswererandomlyassignedintotwogroups：theexperimentalgroup(treatedwithbothtamsulosinandIevofloxacin．
n=48)andthecontroIgroup(treatedwithIevofIoxacinandsolvents，n=48)．Sixratsfromeachgroupwereeuthanizod tocollectblood，
liver，kidneyandprostatesamplesatthetimepointsof0．125，0．25，0．5，1，2。4，8and12hafterdrugadministratino ．TheIevofloxacin
concentrationsweredetectedbyhighperformanceIiquidchromatography(HPLC)。andthepharmacokineticparameterswere
calculatedusingthe3p97softwareprogram．Therewerenoobviousdifferences(P0．05)betweentheexperimenatIandcontroI
groupsinthemajorpharmacokineticparametersoflevofloxacin，includingthehalftime(f1，2)，timetopeak(eak)，clearancerate(CL)，
maximumconcentration(Cmax)andareaunderthecurve(AUC0～12)。intheplasmaorinthehepaticandkidneytissuesofthemodel
rats．Hheprostatictissues，tamsulosinincreasedtheCmaI’prolongedthetu2anddecreasedtheCLofIevofloxacin
(P0．05)．TheseresultsindicatethattamsulosinmayenhancetheeffectofIevofloxacininthetreatmentofbacteriaIprostatitis
withoutchangingthedrugconcentrationintheliverandkidney．
