The nucleo- tide and its corresponding am ino acid sequence ofpal gene from Oryza sativa ( japonica cu ltivar-group), registered in GenBank, are analysis by the b ioinformatic method, and subsequently some mi portant parameters are gained in- clud ing molecu lar structure, physiochem ical properties, phylogenetic evolution and b iological function. The result is as follow ing: there is only ORF in Ospal fu ll-length sequence, and its coding protein has no transmembrane to- pologieal structure, and located in cytoplasm, w ith A-helix and random coil asm ain components in secondary struc- ture.
