Sp o t H osp ital of National I nstitute of Sp o ts Medicine , Beji ing 100061, China = Abstract Objecti e To ex lore the clinical significance of MRI and KT-2000 arthrometer in the early diagnosis of knee joint anterior cruciate ligament injury. Methods Forty-two atients with anterior cruciate ligament were examined by a doctor on s orts medicine with MRI and KT-2000 arthrometer. Diagnoses were confirmed within three weeks, and all atients had successful arthrosco ic reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament. Results Physical examination showed knee swelling in 38 atients, knee ain in 42 atients, effusion of knee joint in 32 atients. A ositive Lachman test was ositive in 38 atients. 19 atients received ADT, and 12 were ositive. MRI showed abnormal signals: discontinuation signals in 9 atients, diffuse signals in 19, and distorted signals in 14 atients. Results of the KT2000 arthrometer measurement of injured and noninjured knees were 215 mm in 33 atients and 215 mm in 9 atients. Conclusion Careful hysical examinationon on injuried knee is basis for early diagnosis of anterior cruciate ligament.
