The rese rch proves th t the bovementioned problem results form the f ct th t the qu lity index of work procedure products X is not subordin te to the norm l distribution in p rts of n re . And it further proves th t the current c lcul ting method of work procedure bility index is un d pt ble in some re s such s chemic l industry. According to the rese rch result of the thesis, it c n be concluded th t redefining the c lcul ting formul of work procedure bility index m y le d to n effective solution of the bove problem, with the qu lity index of work procedure products X subordin te to the bove bnorm l distribution, m them tic l st tistics s fund ment l principle, nd the prob bility le ding to the firstcl ss error less th n 0. 27%.
