Proper B addition can enhance the exchange cou- pling effect between soft and hard magnetic phases, resulting in improving the magnetic properties. More addition of B promotes the formation of non-magnetic phases which degrades the magnetic properties of the Nd Fe B Nb (x = 10 86−x x 4 6.5 - 22) alloys. When B = 10 at%, optimal magnetic properties can be obtained. That is, H =936.0 kA/m, B = 0.91 T j c r and (BH) = 125.9 kJ/m³ for the Nd Fe B Nb alloy annealed at 690˚C for 4 minutes.
