Abstract: A comparator circuit based on currentmode control used in PWM ( Pu lseW idth Modu lation) controller
is presented that is able to compare 3data at a tmi e and to latch output signals. In design, one inverting and two
noninverting inputsw ere app lied in order to modu late the gradual change of duty circle w hen PWM controller is
started up. Output signals depends on one of the inputs, so breaking tmi e is decreased and PWM controller can be
protected. The resu lts of smi u lation and test show that output signal of PWM controller can be controlled by compa
rator and there are a w ider duty circle range and shorter propagation delay tmi e.
