This algorithm, through providing alternative structure elements base, selection reference template, per-processing, analysis and optimum seeking, realizes the selection of structure elements, compares good and bad of structure elements for processing results of images to be processed and chooses outstanding structure elements as the structure elements for follow-up processing. The simulation on noiseless lena image indicates that the algorithm is practical and effective, and the structure elements of all ones should be chosen for the images processing. 【Key words】image processing; mathematical morphology; structure element 0 引言
