Based on intensive investigation and research, this study analyzed the major advantages and disadvantages of modern agricultural industrialization of southwest China ’s Sichuan Province by means of qualitative and quantitative methods, put forward developmental ideas and general goals, and illustrated the major tasks on promoting agricultural industrialization in accordance with “core technologies--priority products—superior, featured and newly rising agricultural industries--post-earthquake agriculture recovery and reconstruction--regional agriculture-modern Agriculture”and finally put forward guarantee measures to reach these goals.
