Also it elaborately analysis the market prospect for the natural gas power plant by the example of Wangting gas project. Following are the main topics of this discourse: Analyzing the geographic advantage of Wangting project and estimated the gas-generating power price on the basis of power selling price in this area. Making a profitability study and power price calculation for gas power plants under the peak-valley price policy, and also under the policy of the two ministries. A detailed economic index study is made based on the determined natural gas price in Wangting project. Through systematic analysis between the relationships of profitability, gas price and the way and time of operation, this discourse point out the strengths and shorts of the combined cycle units in the
