大江中学开展英语课外阅读活动的个案研究
ACaseStudyontheAfter-elassEnglishReadingActivitiesinDajiangMiddleSchool 赵港笙 2006年8月 中文摘要 本研究旨在鼓励广大中学教师组织学生有效地开展英语课外阅读活动, 并给他们提供一些行之有效的实施意见。 作者以克拉申的“输入假说”和“情感过滤假说”等为理论依据,说明 开展英语课外阅读活动的必要性和方法,并且对所在的大江中学英语课外阅 读活动开展情况进行了调查。 调查结果表明:教师和学生对目前的阅读教学效果不满意并希望改进, 而开展课外阅读活动对增强英语阅读教学效果有积极作用,很有必要。但是 调查也发现:学生希望通过课外阅读活动提高自己的英语水平,并迫切希望 老师能在阅读策略,技巧及阅读材料的选择等方面给予必要的指导和帮助, 却因为师资力量欠缺,高考升学压力巨大以及认识不够深刻等原因而在实践 中忽视了课外阅读活动的开展。根据调查结果,结合相关研究,作者提出了 如何在大江中学英语阅读教学中开展课外阅读活动的建议,其中包括教师的 培训,学生在阅读方法及策略方面的训练,阅读材料的选择,开展课外阅读. 活动的方式以及如何对课外阅读活动进行检查等。 由此,作者得出结论:理论分析和实践调查都足以说明,大江中学有效 开展英语课外阅读活动很有必要。开展活动要遵循论文中所述的具体方法。 关键词:英语阅读教学;课外阅读活动;调查Abstraet Abstract The author wants to encourage English teachers after-class reading effectively and give them some research. to direct students to conduct useful suggestions in this In the light of the Input Hypothesis and Affective Filter Hypothesis of Krashen, etc. The author wants to confirm the necessity and methodology of conducting after-class English reading and conducted a survey on conducting after-class reading in Dajiang Middle School.
