ABSTRACT Following the guidelines of multipurpose use and sustainable development of water resource，to develop water carriage，some inland waterway engineers explore the new thought of combining the navigation and hydropower and accelerating the navigation by hydropower,to realize the sustainable development of water carriage and inland waterway．The number ofthis kind of project become more and more，and it will be a new way to develop inland waterway． After some inland waterway navigation and hydropower junctions were built and put into production,carrying out the post-evaluation oflWNHJP has a lot of functions． It can supervise and improve the projcot itself,spur the project to normalize its management and bring better benefit．It can help US to sum up the experience and lessons，analyze the problems and bring forward the countermeasures．It also can improve the utilization of fund，and promote a healthy cycle．However,there’S neither practice nor theory for IWNHJP post—evaluation at present．So scientific research personnel are desiderated to work from all sides，and establish and perfect its theory and methods． On the basis of studying and consulting the materials on the project post—evaluation，combining the characteristic of IWNHJP tightly,the dissertation enriches the following contents．The first chapter deals with the theoretical significance and major contents of post—evaluation，analyzes the pattern of waterway construction of combining the navigation and hydropower and accelerating the navigation by hydropower,and analyzes the characteristic of this kind of engineering， and points out the characteristic of its post—evaluation．Then，brings forward the main contents of the research．Combining the characteristic of project，the second chapter discusses the foundations and contents of IWNHJP post—evaluation．The third chapter sets up a set of index system，and discusses some post—evaluation methods according to its contents．The fourth chapter takes DAYUANDU navigation and hy
