Go for it!八下OBJECTIVES:
1. Knowledge goals(知识目标):
(1) Master the following vocabularies: collect, shell, marathon, pair, skate, skater, since, raise, several, skater, stamp, kite, monster, globe, anyone, run out of, store …
(2) Mater the use of the Present Prefect Progressive Tense.
How long have you been skating?
I’ve been skating for five hours.
I’ve been skating since nine hours.??
I’ve been skating since I was seven years old.
……
2. Ability goals(能力目标):
(1) Learn to talk about how long people have been doing things and people’s hobbies (of collecting things) by using the Present Prefect Progressive Tense
(2) Be able to differ the Present Prefect Progressive Tense from the Past Tense.
3. Emotion goals(情感目标):
(1)Cultivate students’ good lifestyles by talking about collecting things and other hobbies.
(2) Make students to know and get on well with each other by cooperating.
4. Cultural awareness goals(文化意识目标):
Get students to know something about other countries ‘cultures and develop their cross-cultural communication abilities.
5. Learning strategy goals(学习策略目标):
(1) Communication strategy: Through the activities of pairwork and groupwork, students can talk about their hobbies in real life.
(2) Language knowledge strategy: Students can enlarge their pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar knowledge through class learning.
(3) Language skill strategy:?Students can improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through all kinds of activities in class.

This unit can be divided into five periods:
