An Analysis of Hohhot Dairy Farmer’s Cost Efficiency Abstract Hohhot is a recognized place suitable for dairy cow’s breeding. With the lead of China’s two biggest dairy company: YIli and Mengniu, Hohhot’s dairy cow breeding had got great development. Dairy cow breeding has become the prioritizing and sustaining industry. The dairy industry has a decisive place in the development of local economy. Dairy cow breeding plays a positive role in adjust agriculture structure,increase the farmer’s income and enhance people’s health standard. In a certain distant,the dairy industry’s development drives the long distane development of Hohhot’s economy, especially in the development of husbandry. In recent years, the development of Hohhot’s dairy industry is not optimistic. The milk’s purchasing price is going down periodicity, the dairy cow’s breeding price is going up , the breeding income is decreasing, the effect of government help becomes less and less. Scale breeding turns from earning to losing. Many dairy farmers have the exchange of profit and cost. The small scale dairy farmer’s milk selling price is low, makes the country’s dairy breeding industry wither. The increase of dairy farmer’s income is slow. This dissertation based on investigated data, combining Hohhot’s dairy farmer’s producing and managing situation, developing scale, milk producing cost and dairy families’ income and outcome, analyze Hohhot’s dairy farmer’s breeding cost effectiveness and the facts affect their income. Find tout the main problem the dairy farmers faced in the managing and its reason, and finds out the relevant solution.
