In order to make the words more clearly shown on the display, the design adopts the theory of four 8 * 8 dot matrix module to form a 16 * 16 LED dot matrix display screen, can be used to implement the Chinese characters and digital display and dynamic display effect. STC89C52 single chip microcomputer as the core control device, string and converter and latch as decoding circuit of the device, the transistor and relay as driving circuit devices, level through even a way to expand the size of the display screen to display the content of the increase. STC89C52 single chip control command and display code, will display the contents of the serial output and control through the I/O port decoding circuit completion string and convert parallel output, finally through the display drive circuit module drive LED dot matrix display screen scan display.
