Oral Homework Organization
Students’ Interest

[Instract] The present study presents a detailed report of a project implemented to solve the problem that most of my students do not like doing the oral practice I assign them to do after class. It is hypothesized that leaners’ interest in oral practice after class will be greatly increased by a better organization in this respect. This hypothesis is verified by a four-week practice of well-organized oral work activities.
Methodologically, four metods are used, and they are analytic method, cause analysis, questionnaire survey, and brainstorming activation.

1. Introduction
I have been teaching the students who are in their second year of a junior middle school. In my teaching I’ve found there are some problems. Now I’ll finish my study in Beijing TV University. I hope I can solve the problems that have troubled me for some time through the action research so that I can apply my knowledge and theory into practice, which I learned from Beijing TV University.
2. Summary of the Preliminary Research
This part of my study was conducted during Sep.5, 2014~Oct.20, 2014.
1.1 Problem
The problem I have in my teaching is that most of my students do not like doing the oral practice I assign them to do after class.
1.1 Problem analysis
In my teaching, the problem identified was really a serious problem. My preliminary research confirmed that there were three main reasons that accounted for students’ reluctance to do the oral assignments out of class.
Firstly, some students did not feel interested in practicing oral English alone after class. They thought they could not communicate without partners. Secondly, some students had some difficulties in doing oral practice, so they hoped that they could do it after
class under more concrete direction of the teacher. Thirdly, most students felt overloaded because of heavier homework assignments.
