a bit + adj./adv.=a little e.g. I’m a bit tired.
注:a little bit = a little 稍微,有点
I’ll be a little(bit)later home tomorrow.
a bit of + n. = a little + n.[u] e.g. Please give me a bit of paper.
My legs ache a bit.—状语,修饰ache.
eg. I like the book a bit.= I like the book a little.
not a bit 一点也不 I’m not a bit tired
not a little 非常 I’m not a little tired.
Lingling: Don’t give up if you want to stay fit. You’re lucky you’re only playing in the school team! I’ve got a friend whose brother is training for the Olympics.
