DEPARTMENT FOR TRANSPORT, ENERGY AND INFRASTRUCTURE JOB AND PERSON SPECIFICATION Title of Position: Applications Services Officer Division: Office of the Chief Information Officer Classification Code: ASO7 Directorate: Office of the Chief Information Officer Position Number: CI0150 Branch/Section: Service Delivery Group Job and Person Specification Approval / / CEO or delegate JOB SPECIFICATION Position Summary The Applications Services Officer is accountable to the Director, Service Delivery for: leading and managing the establishment and maintenance of high level monitoring and control processes to enable measurement of outcomes and benefits of processes and systems that support the delivery of messaging services by the State’s Electronic Messaging Service (EMS) Provider and the delivery of Active Services by the State’s Active Directory Service (AD) Provider providing high level advice, leadership and support in complex negotiations with ICT Service Providers ensuring professional business relationships are maintained with ICT suppliers, government agencies and ICT industry representatives providing leadership, advice and guidance to all stakeholders within the Service Delivery Group in EMS and AD Services operational and management issues Reporting/Working relationships The Applications Services Officer: reports to the Manager Operations Customer Service, Service Delivery Group and has a significant working relationship with the ICT Services Manager, Service Delivery Group has significant working relationships with suppliers and senior agency representatives. ensures good working relationship with the Customer Agreement Administrator to assist in the effective management of Service Delivery Group Customer Agreements for messaging and Active Directory services Special Conditions Some work outside normal hours and some intrastate travel involving overnight absences may be required.
