County Name GIS Department RFQ for “2010 Planimetric, Topographic, and Digital Orthoimagery Project” Part 1: RFQ Purpose The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to receive proposals for selection of a contractor to provide professional services for the “2010 Planimetric, Topographic, and Digital Orthoimagery Project” This RFQ does not constitute a contract for services performed or to be performed. This project will include the following key components: Aerial Imagery Acquisition Ground Control Aerial Triangulation Planimetric Mapping LiDAR/DTM Topographic Mapping Digital Orthophotography Oblique Aerial View Imagery (OAV)  All proposals submitted become the property of County Name and will not be returned. The County is not responsible for any costs incurred by the respondent in proposal preparation, presentations, site visits, or benchmarks performed. Part 2: Project Overview To keep up with growth and the associated public services County Name frequently updates its GIS base mapping. The purpose of this RFQ is to receive qualifications to produce new Planimetric/Topographic data and new color digital orthophotography in the year 2010.
