Form Two Syllabus I. Weather and Climate-do they matter? Weather and climate is one of the core topics in physical geography. As illustrated by its title, the emphasis of this topic is on how weather and climate affect our life as well as what we should and could do in response to this. Obviously, students should be able to master a reasonable portion of basic concepts and facts concerning various aspects of weather and climate, including being capable of giving a brief account on the climatic characteristics and the common weather conditions of their home area and home country. It will relatively be more important for students to be able to take necessary actions in response to the impact of weather and climate than to be able to memorise the characteristics of specific climatic features.
