Course in College Tennis Ball Machine of Supporting the Effectiveness of Teaching   (China Petroleum University East China Sports Teaches the Education Ministry, Shandong Qingdao 266555)   Abstract. Carries on the contrastive analysis using the cut-and-try method, uses to the university tennis teaching in serves machine the auxiliary teaching effect, the feasibility and the usability conducts the experimental study. Is for the purpose of exploring the university tennis class teaching the new pattern, improves the quality of teaching and the efficiency, the promotion university sports educational reform development, opens the new teaching method and the method for the university tennis curriculum provides the beneficial reference.   Key words: University; Tennis; Serves Machine; Auxiliary Teaching   Introduction   Along with the popularity of tennis ball machines in the world, ball machines have changed into good companies and helpers of the professional and amateur tennis players at present. The training of the ball machines is a multi-ball training. Its feature is making use of the machine serving way and making the teachers devote themselves into the teaching guidance heart and soul.   Therefore, with the purpose of making an evaluation on the teaching effect of the application of the ball machines, the author carries out a study on the application of the ball machines in the teaching of the public elective tennis course of the general higher learning schools.   Research Objects and Methods   Research Objects.The research objects were the 60 male students, who were enrolled by China University of Petroleum (East China) in 2009, selected the tennis course and had the similar basic conditions. 30 students were selected from these objects randomly to be an experimental group, and the other 30 students composed a reference group.
