The Southern Renaissance historically significant conflict between north and south gap in culture and way of thinking Took their root in the South to seek universality kept the continuity of the southern theme and reminded the world of the existence of south made the southern literary renaissance a fact of history Southern Renaissance In the 20th century , southern lit. became not only distinguished but very diverse, yet it has often rooted its works in the south. By 1920’s, a literary movement known as the Southern Renaissance emerged. There was a domination of southern literature for at least 4 decades in American Literature.
