The Second Period  The General Idea of This Period This is the second period of Module 6.Talking about the Internet can cause the students’ interest. Train their ability of using the Internet to get wider information of English. Teaching Aims 1. Improve the students’ ability of reading comprehension. 2. Individual or pair work to make every student work in class. 2. Fast reading and careful reading to understand the passage correctly. Teaching Aids 1. a tape recorder  2. a projector 3. the blackboard Teaching Procedures Step 1 Greetings 　Greet the whole class as usual. Step 2 Fast reading  　T: Now read the passage on Page52 silently and quickly to get the general idea.
