Key laboratory of Arid Climatic Change and Reducing Disaster of Gansu Province/Key3 Open Laboratory of Arid Climatic Change and Disaster Reduction of CMA/ Institute of Arid Meteorology; CMA; Lanzhou 730020; China；2 Wuwei meteorological bureau in GanSu province,Gansu Wuwei 733000；3Meteorological Station, Tianzhu Gansu 733200 : 4 Tianzhu Meteorological Station, Tianzhu Gansu 733200) Abstract：Using data of hourly temperatureevery 6 hours’ cloud cover of Tianzhu and Wushaoling from July 2009 to December 2015 in eastern Hexi Corridor, in order to improve minimum temperature forecast accuracy in Tianzhu, temporal variations of atmosphere temperature difference, cloud cover characteristics and their forecast relations were analyzed in detail over Wushaoling Mountain. The result showed that temperature of Wushaoling bigger than that of Tianzhu’ frequencies were high up to 50% , temperature of Wushaoling bigger than that of Tianzhu’ intensities were strong about 4～6℃ at morning 8h in winter , temperatureWushaoling bigger than that of Tianzhu’ frequencies were low less than 40% , temperature of Wushaoling bigger than that of Tianzhu’ intensities were weak below 2℃ in spring and summer. For cloud cover, it was less from night to morning but more at dusk, and more from May to September but less in winter. For sky conditions, except for clear days were the most whose frequencies were higher than 50% in winter, cloudy days were more ,next were clear days, partly cloudy days were lest below 20% in other seasons. valley breeze is more in Wushaoling ,but mountain breeze is more in Tianzhu.
