Unit 5 A party 第一课时(story time) 本单元围绕“举办聚会”这一话题,把有关一般将来时的日常交际用语词汇和语言结构有机结合起来,重点学习句型What are you going to ......? I am going to ...Are you going to ...?Yes,I am./we are.No,I am not/we are not.等将来时的表达方式。在四五年级课本中学生已经接触be 动词am,is,are的用法,也为本单元的学习做了一定的铺垫。在教学过程中,教师可根据学生的年龄、身心特点,利用图片、照片等积极创设各种生动活泼并较为真实的情景来引导学生理解和运用所学的知识,帮助学生巩固本单元所学的日常用语及单词,进一步提高学生听、说、读、写的能力和综合语言运用的能力。 Learning aims: 1.I can use “am/is/are going to” to talk about plans. 2.I can read and act out this story. 3.I know the things we bring for the party. Teaching important points: 在教师设计的教学活动的引领下能够整体理解语篇,提高学生的阅读能力。 能在现实生活中比较自如地运用本单元日常交际用语和句型与他人进行日常交流。 Teaching difficult points: 1、比较熟练地掌握关于聚会的名词英文表达。 2、模仿story time 介绍。 The teaching process: Step one: Warming up 1、Greetings. 2、Listen to the song:《Will you join me ?》. Qs: What is the girl going to do ? 3、Free talk. What are you going to do at the weekend ? What are you going to do on May Day ? What are you going to do on Children’s Day ? 4、Enjoy a song 《The party time》. T:This lesson, I am going to enjoy the song with you . Q: What’s the song about ? Where are they going ?(S: They are going to a party.) 5、Show the title. T: Right. It’s about a party. Today we are going to talk about a party. Let’s read the title. -------Unit5 A party (板书1) Step two: Presentation Let’s talk: Read the title, what can you think of ? 提示词:Where、Who、When、 What、 Why. Rules: Four students in a group, talk about a party ,you can ask some questions about “party”. Choose three questions about the text. Who are going to have a party ? When are they going to have a party ? What are they going to bring to the party ?(板书2) 2.Watch the cartoon and fill in the form . when where who what 学生看完卡通片后,自己完成表格前三行。(板书3) What are the children going to bring to the party ?(小组讨论,完成表格第四行。) 3.Read and answer.
