Good morning, I’m very glad to share my lesson with you. I’m from Dantu vocational school. My name is ZhengTing. The teaching material which I am going to talk about is Unit15 Environmental protection section two《》.’ll divide my lesson into eight parts. Part one Analysis of teaching material The main aim of this unit is to know something about environmental pollution and how to protect the environment. We’ve learned something before. Learning this text can help students achieve this aim better and enlarge their vocabulary. Part two Analysis of students 1) Before this part, students have had a general impression of this unit, but it is still necessary for them to improve reading skills and speed. 2) Students may pay less attention to environmental protection in their daily life; some of them even form bad habits. Learning this text can remind them of how to protect the environment. Part three Teaching objectives Cognition objective 1) Students should know where all the rubbish goes and what we can do to protect the environment. 2) Grasp some words and expressions. 2. Ability objective Improve students抮eading skills and abilities. 3. Emotion objective 1) Arouse students抜nterest in English. 2)Focus students抋ttention on doing their bit to protect our environment. Part four Imprm ortant and different points Teaching Important Points: Understand the whole text and grasp some useful expressions. Teaching Difficult Points: 1) How to improve students抮eading speed and skills.r 2) Make students think about the environmental protection and take some measures for it. Part five Teaching and learning methods Teaching methods: 1) Teaching by using multimedia equipment 2) Task-based language teaching method 3) Teaching in enlightening way Learning methods: Students should grasp more opportunities to express themselves in English and actively take part in class activities.
