主谓一致精讲 ▲英语中的主谓一致主要应注意以下一些情况: 1)由and连接两个或两个以上单数名词或代词作主语时，如果指两个或两个以上的人或物，谓语动词用复数形式；如果指同一个人或物，或指同一概念时，谓语动词用单数形式。例如： He and I are both students of physics in this university. 他和我都是这所大学学物理的学生。（主语是两个人） The singer and dancer is going to give us a performance this evening. 那名歌星也是舞跟演员今晚要给我们演出。（主语是一个人） Bread and butter is a common food for breakfast in England. 面包黄油是英国的普通早餐食物。（同一概念） Bread and butter are sold in this shop. 这家商店里有卖的面包和黄油。（不同概念） 另外，由and连接的并列主语的前面分别有each, every或no修饰时，其谓语动词用单数形式。例如： Every boy and every girl has to receive education in our country. 在我们国家每个男孩和每个女孩都必须接受教育。 No student and no teacher was invited to the party last week. 上个周没有学生，也没有老师被邀请参加那次聚会。 there be句型中and连接两个并列主语时，谓语和就近的一个保持一致。例如： There is only an old piano and some broken chairs in the room. 房间里只有一架旧钢琴和几把破椅子。 There are still some eggs and meat in the plate. 盘子里有鸡蛋和肉。 2)当主语带有with, along with, together with, as well as, besides, like, without, except/but, including等介词引出的短语时，谓语动词和连接词前一部分主语保持一致。例如： Alice, together with two other boys, was punished for having broken the rule. 艾丽斯，还有另外两个男孩因为违反规则而受到惩罚。 Mary as well as her three classmates studies Chinese in our school. 玛丽还有她有三个同学都在我们学校学习中文。 All the soldiers, including my brother, are leaving for the front tomorrow. 所有的战士，包括我哥哥，明天将要去前线。 No one except my parents knows the truth. 除了我的父母没有人知道真相。 3)由or, either…or, neither…nor, not only…but also连接两个并列主语时，谓语动词与靠近的主语保持一致。例如： Either he or you are to do the work in the forest. 要么他，要么是你将要去森林里做这项工作。 Not only the students but also the teacher wishes for a holiday. 不仅是学生，老师也盼望着放假。 4)一个动名词或不定式表示某种抽象概念，谓语动词用单数形式，但连接两个动名词或不定式表示不同概念时，则用复数形式。例如： To see one time is better than to hear a hundred times. 看见一次比听说百遍更好。 Collecting stamps is the old man’s only interest in life. 收集邮票是老人一生唯一的爱好。 Laying eggs and looking for food are their main jobs. 产卵和寻觅食物是它们的主要工作。 5)名词性从句作主语，谓语动词多用单数形式，但若两个或两个以上的从句由and连接表示两个概念，谓语动词用复数形式。shat引导主语从句时，谓语取决于表语的单、复数。例如： What he is doing seems very important. 他正在做的事情似乎很重要。 What caused the fire and how much
