牛津高中英语教学设计 单 元:Unit 4 The next step 板 块:Word power Thoughts on the design: 本单元word power主要目的是让学生了解更多与大学有关的内容和词汇,开拓学生的视野,有效提高学生学习英语的主动性和积极性,培养学生的英语学习兴趣,改善学生的学习方式学生的英语学习效果英语知识的运用能力。 After learning the word power, the students will be able to: 1. know more about university courses and the different titles and positions at university; 2. know more about the abbreviations related to university degrees; 3. use the new words and phrases they have learned to write a report. Teaching procedures: Step 1 Lead in What subject are you learning now? (Chinese, Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History, Geography …) What subject are you particularly interested in? Why? Can you think of more subjects that you can learn in the university? (Finance, engineering …) [Explanation] 通过问学生他们现在所有的科目让学生回顾已学词汇, 从低难度出发,增强学生的自信心。同时,让学生自由表达自己感兴趣的学科来调动学生学习热情。通过让学生对大学学科的猜想,了解学生对大学学科的掌握情况, 并且很自然地过渡到本节课的其中一个主题——大学课程的分类。 Step 2 University courses 1. Ask students to read part A and answer the questions. (1) If you are interested in business courses, which courses can you study? Economics, Finance, Business, Administration and Accounting. (2) What courses are useful for you, if you want to work in factories? Industrial Engineering and Packaging Engineering. (3) What are the traditional courses and what are included in them? Sciences and arts.
