e.g. I hope you don’t mind my saying it.
2)动名词的名词性质表现在:在句中可用作主语、宾语、定语、表语 。
e.g. Travelling abroad can be very exciting.;[观察] 观察下列句子中动词-ing形式的用
法,然后加以总结。
1. Playing with fire is very dangerous.
2. Cleaning the classroom is our duty.;★动词-ing形式作主语时,为了保持句子平衡,可以用it作形式主语,而动词-ing形式(短语)则放在 _______ 作真正的主语。;It is no good walking in the rain.;;1. They don’t allow fishing in the lake.
2. My mother advised asking a doctor to come and examine her eyes. ;动词有: allow advise
admit, appreciate, avoid,
consider, delay, deny, enjoy, escape, excuse, finish, forbid,
fancy, imagine, keep, mind, miss, permit, practice, pardon, quit, risk, resist, suggest 等。;1. I am proud of having won so many gold medals.
2. She went away without saying goodbye.
3. My father has been used to going to bed late and getting up very early.
4. He has some difficulty in finding her house. ;1. He has some difficulty in finding her house.
2. He is busy preparing for a meeting this afternoon. ;动名词;★有些动词后既可跟________,也可跟
动词不定式作宾语,但用法和意义都无
多大区别。
like /love /prefer /hate /begin /start /
/continue/intend…
;★动词-ing形式用在动词need, want, require, deserve(应得)等后,用动词-ing形式的______形式或者用不定式的被动式表示被动意义。;Do you mind my / me / Sally / Sally’s leaving now?;用作表语,表示一般性、经常性的动作,可和主语对调。如:
The main thing is getting there in time.
His main love is singing.
动名词作表语时与进行时态中的现在分词形式相同,但其所属结构迥异,二者不可混淆。试比较:;Her job was washing clothes.
她的工作是洗衣服。(动名词作表语)
She was washing clothes.
她在洗衣服。(现在分词与was构成过去进行时,用作谓语。);用作定语。动名词作定语说明其所修饰名词的用途。如:
He may be in the reading room.
Everybody was at his fighting post.
而现在分词作定语,则表示其所修饰名词正在进行的动作;There is a swimming pool at the back of the garden. (a swimming pool = a pool for swimming 动名
