Asthmatic rat solitary tract nucleus H3 receptors on airway substance P-like compounds affect the immune response
【Abstract】 Objective: To investigate the rat nucleus of solitary tract (NTS) of histamine H3 receptor on the airway during an asthma attack within the neurogenic inflammatory mediators P substance (SP) content of impact. Methods: Healthy male SD rats were successfully prepared by asthma model induced by acute asthma attack after the use of the central nucleus of three-dimensional positioning and micro-injection technique, followed by groups within the NTS microinjection of sterile saline, H3 receptor agonists as well as its RMHA antagonist Thio, the use of lung SP-specific antiserum, immunohistochemical method (SABC), glucose oxidase nickel DAB staining and computer image analysis to detect lung SP content. Results: compared with the control group, asthma within the rat NTS microinjection of 1 μg RMHA, lung SP-like immunoreactive materials (SPR IL) significantly reduced the number of positive, positive lower density, the difference was statistically significant (P lt;0.01 ); If the asthmatic rat NTS injection of Thio 5 μg, the above-mentioned effects can be antagonized RMHA. Conclusion: The rat H3 receptors within the NTS involved in reducing asthma attack SP neurogenic release of inflammatory mediators, which may inhibit asthma attacks.

Airway neurogenic inflammation in asthma is increasingly powerful role in disease caused by the researchers attention. Non-adrenergic non-cholinergic neural (nonadrenergic noncholinergic, NANC) distributed in the airway wall layers, its peripheral tachykinin release of inflammatory mediators in class, can cause bronchospasm, plasma leakage, mucosal edema and respiratory tract pathological changes, close ties with asthma [1]. P substance (substance P, SP) is a NANC nerve endings release mainly ne
