Compared with the control group, doxycycline treated group MMP 2 mRNA was 0.637 0.088, significantly lower than the control group (1.035 0.097, P lt;0.05); TIMP 2 mRNA was 0.778 0.148, significantly higher ( 0.484 0.125, P lt;0.05). Conclusion doxycycline by regulating MMP 2 and TIMP 2 mRNA expression levels of lung metastasis of mouse breast cancer model inhibited tumor growth and metastasis of play.
